Patricia Chung is the Founding Partner of Messrs. Chung Chambers, an active member of Malaysian Bar Council, Registered Patent, Trade Mark, Industrial Design and Plant Variety Agent. She has been appointed as President of International Intellectual Property Commercialization Council Malaysia Chapter (IIPCC MY) by IIPCC Headquarters in Hong Kong, a permanent observer of World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). She is also a registered member of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), a registered associate of Malaysia Institute of Arbitrators (MIArb), and an Accredited Mediator of Malaysian Bar Mediation Centre. She has been appointed as the honorary legal advisor for Small Medium Enterprise Association Malaysia (SAMENTA) and committee member of the Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA), Penang. She has been actively serving the IT Sub-Committee of Penang Bar, a member of Fintech Association of Malaysia (FAOM) and Penang Women Commerce of Chambers (PWCC). She is well-versed in both the litigation and non-litigation fronts of IP including IP Management, IP Strategy, IP Mapping, IP Valuation, IP Commercialization, IP Enforcement and held a diverse portfolio as a litigation lawyer contributed a number of Reported Malaysian Cases involving IP Infringement and Cyber Security issue and being an active corporate attorney by consistently contributing Legal Written Opinions in respect of compliance matters for reputable Financial Institutions, Fintech Companies and Corporate Companies throughout her 13-year legal career.
