Dr. Ou Xiu Ping was graduated from Southwest University in Political Science and Law. After his graduation, he was sent by the Supreme People’s Court to further his study in the University of London, University of Washington and University of Madrid. In the year 1995, he first works in the Higher People’s Court of Guangdong Province and then later he moved to the Civil Court, the Second Economic Court and the Third Civil Court. Subsequently thereafter, he ever serves as a Deputy Chief Judge of the Intellectual Property of the Guangdong High People’s Court and as the Vice President of the Shantou Intermediate People’s Court. He was very experienced in reviewing numerous of major trial cases which includes some of the international major cases. He was nominated and being rated as the first batch of intellectual property experts in China and the first batch of trial experts in Guangdong too. Also, he serves as a part – timer professor of the National Lawyers College and a part – timer postgraduate tutor of Southwest University of Political Science and Law, and an arbitrator of Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Hainan Arbitration Commission and Tokyo International Arbitration Center. He has published many core journals in China and participated in the editing of many law monographs.
